The best thing about winter is snuggling up and hunkering down; however, after a few weeks that loses its shine and starts to breed a touch of cabin fever. My girlfriends and I have been talking about doing a weekend away for a while and, thanks to the team at Long White Vodka, I’m feeling very inspired to make it happen. So while you dream about where your ideal winter weekend escape is, feast your eyes on these getaway essentials – and read on to win $250 to help make it a reality.
Stay warm in style
Superettes new Tie Up Sweater is made from 100% fine merino, so this stylish pullover is everything you need in a winter warmer
I only just got wind of this kickass jewellery label LuvAJ. They have made the perfect statement pieces to completely raise the bar on any outfit. What’s better still, they won’t take up any space in your luggage.
Fringe, is not just for summer
Any street styler will tell you fringing is peaking, there’s just something about it that says yolo. I’m guessing it’s from all those years saving it especially for festivals. My opinion, drag the fringe trend into winter with these great 3×1 jeans .
Lounged as bro
There is no better way to embrace your holiday than in your lounge wear, heck you will most probably be in it most of the day anyway. I am truly obsessed with these sleepwear sets. Check out some favourites Homebodii , Only Hearts & Eberjey
Destination , fireplace
This is the fanciest UFO (unidentified fire object) I could find, the good thing about a fireplace is it doesn’t discriminate against lesser designed versions.Just as long as it’s warm and makes good crackling noises it’ll do!
And lots of yummy ingredients to make some easy eats and great cocktails
Pick an easy meal and turn it gourmet with lots of fresh herbs and produce. My go to, or at least what I’d like to eat this very minute: a pesto prawn pizza with red capscium. Also come prepared with some delicious cocktails (because no one likes doing a booze run when it’s dark and cold). Long White Vodka mixes are made with naturally flavoured sparkling water, which is perfect if you’re not wanting anything too sweet or too heavy. It makes settling in and arriving on your first night super easy. With three refreshing flavours, sweetened with apple juice not added table sugar, and made from good old locally sourced ingredients – Lemon & Lime is my fav – you can focus on other important things like the playlist!
This post was made possible thanks to Long White Vodka – all thoughts/opinions are my own!
